Tonguing exercises

Play these exercises tonguing lightly to the root of your upper teeth. Choose a tempo that you can play the six bars on one breath (usually about ≈ 100bpm).

Choose a tempo that you can play the five bars on one breath (usually about +-100bpm).

You can use any scale you want for the tonguing exercise above. Below are few examples using mixolydian and natural minor scales.
